But the real fun started when the kids decided to put all the husks in a pile... and then, well, you know... they played like this for a good 20 minutes. Sometimes it's good for me to just let 'em be kids and not stress out over the mess. They had fun.

Wow...we've had this summer's corn at least once a week for the past 3months...meanwhile...never once have we let the kids husk them...let alone PLAY in the husks!

How much fun! I am such a neat freak, that I must remember, quite often, that the kids need to be kids--just like you said. And to join in, too!
