bryson drew this picture the other night. it's the first picture he's drawn of his dad and himself. (i have a collection of love notes... i've got to snap a photo of them!) the picture brought me to tears with just that mama-bear-pride. he's a sweet boy, a great kid, a joy to call mine. i just had to frame it up for his office. he even drew daddy's new beard!

Oh my heavens...if I framed all the little masterpieces my wonderful children have drawn of their family...well...our house isn't big enough for starters!
Bryson loves his daddy. And for him to express it through his little hands with his heart full of love overflowing through them is beautiful.
You know I hold a very special place for fellow artists! I'll have to be sure to praise him for it the next time I see him. Any time I get the opportunity to make Bryson smile is a good day indeed!!
You'll treasure that picture for the rest of your life. When I run into pictures 'little' Ethan drew for us at Bryson's age, I tear up without fail.
Children are so pure. Such a testament of our Father.
